Avoid Losing Access to Your Crazy Domains Account

Your Crazy Domains account manages your domains, hosting, email, and other services. Losing access can prevent you from managing products or updating account details.

You may lose access if you forget your username or password, or if you no longer have access to the registered email address required for account recovery. Maintaining accurate account and recovery details helps support access restoration when needed.

This article outlines the information you should maintain to help secure your account and support recovery if access is lost.

Use a working email address in the account

Make sure the email address on your account is active and accessible, as it’s required for verification and password recovery.

Add your phone number in the account

Add your personal phone number to your account. We can use it to confirm ownership and help you regain access if you ever lose it.

Use your real name in the account

If you lose access to your Crazy Domains Account and password reset is no longer an option, we can help you recover your account. To make recovery possible, ensure that the account name is a real name and follows these rules:

  • Use your real first and last name
  • Do not use generic names such as admin or administrator.
  • Do not put your company or business name in the first and last name fields
  • If you want to use your business name, you can turn your account into a Business Account instead

During assisted account recovery, we may require identification that matches the account information on record. This process helps protect your account and ensures that only the rightful owner can regain access.
