Linux | Website Manager Interface

 

This article provides an overview of the Linux Website Manager interface, including its key sections and features. It is intended to help you navigate the tool and understand how to manage your websites within your hosting account.

The Linux Website Manager interface allows you to manage your website, domains, and other server configurations. 

 

Access your Linux Website Manager

  1. Go to your Linux Control Panel.
  2. Select from any of the website on your Site list and click on the SETTINGS button. 

 

The CD Shared Hosting Website Manager interface

 

The Linux Website Manager contains the following sections. Click one to go to the specific section of this guide. 

  1. The page header 
  2. Edit WordPress site button 
  3. Website manager main menu 
  4. Website manager menu content 

 

The page header 

The page header holds the following items: 

  • Back arrow. Click the back arrow to go back to your Linux Control Panel
  • Website name. Displays the name of the website you are currently managing. 
  • RENAME. Click the RENAME button to change the name of the website. 

 

Edit WordPress site button  

This button is only visible for WordPress websites. Click the EDIT WORDPRESS SITE button to access your WordPress Admin Dashboard

 

Website Manager main menu 

The main menu allows you to navigate through the following pages of your Linux Website Manager: 

  • Overview page (default page) 
  • Security page 
  • Backups page 
  • Plugins page (for WordPress site only) 
  • Users page (for WordPress site only) 
  • Speed page (for WordPress site only) 
  • Domains page 
  • Advanced page 
  • Settings page 

 

Website Manager menu content 

The Website Manager menu content displays the content of the menu you have selected. The first thing that displays here is the Overview content which is the default page of your Linux Website Manager.
