Two-Factor Authentication for Titan
This guide explains how Two‑Factor Authentication (2FA) works for Titan email and why enabling it is important for protecting your account. By using this guide, you’ll learn how to set up and manage 2FA to add an extra layer of security to your email.

Install an authenticator app
Before you continue, please make sure that you have installed any of the authenticator apps listed below on your mobile device.
- Google Authenticator (Available on Android & iOS)
- Microsoft Authenticator (Available on Android & iOS)
- Authy (Available on Android & iOS)
- Zoho OneAuth (Available on Android & iOS)
How to set up 2FA
- Log in to your Titan Email on the web.
- On the upper right of your Titan client, click the Settings (⚙️ gear icon), then Preferences. This opens the Account & Security page.
- On the right side, click on Security (2FA).
- Click on the Set up now button.
- Enter your account password to verify your identity.
- Click on the I have an authenticator app button. You will see the QR code and the setup key after.
NOTE. Make sure you already have downloaded and installed an authenticator app on your mobile devicep.
- Set up 2FA in your authenticator app either by scanning the QR code or using the setup key.
- Once you have scanned or copy the setup key, click Next.
- Enter the 6-digit code shown in your authenticator app and click Verify.
- After verification, save your recovery codes by copying them or sending them to your email. These codes are important in case you lose access to your authenticator app.
How to edit 2FA Settings
After setting up 2FA, you can update your authenticator app, access your security codes, or turn off 2FA at any time.
To update your Titan 2FA, go to the 2FA settings.
- Log in to your Titan Email on the web.
- On the upper right of your Titan client, click the Settings (⚙️ gear icon), then Preferences. This opens the Account & Security page.
- On the right side, click on Security (2FA), and click Manage.
- Enter your password to edit the 2FA configuration.
- Here, you can do the following:
- You can manage your 2FA settings to change your authenticator app
- or view your recovery codes.
How to disable 2FA
If you no longer wish to use two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Titan email, you can easily turn it off through your Account Manager.
Follow these steps to disable the Titan 2FA.
- Access your Titan Email Manager through your Crazy Domains Account.
- In your Titan Email Manager, click Email Accounts. This opens the list of your emails.
- Select the specific Titan email address where you want to disable 2FA.
- Click the three-dot (⋯) menu next to the selected email account.
- From the options, select Disable Two-Factor Authentication.
