The Blog Editor in our Website Builder makes it easy to create and customise your single blog content using a system of flexible blocks. You can mix and match these blocks to build your blog posts exactly as you envision.

Adding blocks
To add a block, simply place your cursor where you’d like the content to appear, then click any of the available blocks in the Blocks Menu, which is always visible at the bottom of the page. You can add text, images, videos, and more—right into your post with just a click.
List of available blocks
Explore the available blocks you can use to customise your blog post at the bottom of the draft page to format your content, add media, and organize your layout visually.

Use this to add HEADING to your content. Once added, you can highlight the text to do the following actions:

Use this to add images to your blog post. Once the image is added, click on it to perform any of the following actions:

Use this to embed online videos (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo) into your blog post. Once the Video block is added, click on it to do the following actions:

Use this to add space between blocks. Once added, hover over the spacer and drag the arrow to adjust the spacer height. |
Moving blocks
To move blocks up or down, follow these steps:
- Hover over the block that you want to move.
- Click the Up or Down arrow on the right side.
Post Settings Panel
Located on the right side of the blog editor, the Post Settings panel lets you manage how your blog post appears on your site and in feeds.

The following are the available blog post settings:

| TAGS |
Tags help organize your content and improve discoverability for both visitors and search engines. Add up to 10 relevant tags by typing and pressing Enter, Tab, or comma (e.g., Workout, Health, Running, Training). |
| PREVIEW PHOTO |
This section allows you to upload a preview image shown in blog feeds or previews and capture the essence of your article to encourage clicks. |
| POST AUTHOR |
This field allows you to specify the author of the post. It can be customized to reflect authors. |
| EXCERPT |
The excerpt is a short summary of your post. Use this space to highlight the key points or hook of your article to encourage users to read more. |
| SOCIAL SHARING BUTTONS |
This option enables or disables social sharing buttons on the post. When enabled, readers can easily share their content on platforms like Facebook or Twitter. |
| POST COMMENTS |
This option determines whether users can comment on the post. Enabling comments encourages reader engagement and feedback. |
Customising the single blog layout
Customising the look of your single blog post is key to making sure your post appears professional and performs just the way you need it to. After publishing, you can fine-tune how your blog post is displayed on the main blog page using the Blog Page Post Settings.
Accessing Blog Page Post Settings
- In the Website Editor side menu, go to Pages.
- Hover over the Post section under Blog.
- Click the gear icon. This opens the Blog Page Post Settings

In the Blog Page Post Settings panel, you can see the following features:

| POST PREVIEW |
This option allows you to choose a specific post layout or preview style. This will indicate the preview will use a predefined template named accordingly and ideal for consistent visual branding across multiple posts. |
| FORMAT |
This setting is used to define the type of content you are publishing. A standard format is chosen here, which is suitable for regular blog entries featuring text, images, and simple media. |
| POST WIDTH |
The Post Width setting ensures that your content aligns seamlessly with other site elements, promoting a balanced layout that enhances readability and maintains visual consistency across all devices. |
| META |
Enabling "Meta" means the post will display metadata such as the author's name, publish date, categories, or tags. This helps readers quickly understand the context and relevance of the content. |
| META STYLE |
This setting defines how metadata is displayed. With your style selection preference, the post will feature a clean and familiar layout that doesn't distract from the main content. |
| ALIGNMENT |
This setting determines how text and elements are positioned for your blog page. |
| SOCIAL SHARING |
Enabling social sharing will help readers to easily share posts on various platforms. This boosts visibility and can significantly increase your post's reach. |
| COMMENTS |
Enabling the comments setting will help leave feedback or engage in discussions directly on the post. |
| POST NAVIGATION |
his helps users move easily to the previous or next post. This feature improves site engagement and keeps readers exploring more contentt. |
