cWatch: Defence Center
The cWatch Defence Center (Firewall) monitors traffic to your website through our Content Delivery Network (CDN) and blocks detected threats before they can reach your website. Use this feature to help protect your website from malicious traffic and other online threats.
Activate your cWatch Defence
Important: You need to configure your DNS record for cWatch to activate your cWatch Defence. See cWatch: Content Delivery Network.
- Log in to cWatch.
- Go to Defence Center > Firewall Settings.
- On the Firewall Activation tab, turn on the Firewall switch.
- Click SAVE.
Other Firewall settings
You can enable or disable the following firewall settings based on your website’s protection requirements. Use the toggle next to each setting to turn it on or off. Make sure to click SAVE after.

- User Agent
- WAF & OWASP Top Threats
- CSRF
- IP Reputation
- Behaviour Protection
- CMS Protection
- Spam Blocker
