Domain Guard: Product Overview and Usage Guide

Product Overview

Domain Guard is a powerful security solution designed to protect your domain from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and fraudulent activities. It offers robust privacy safeguards, advanced monitoring tools, and real-time security alerts to keep your domain secure and under your control.

Why is it important to secure your domain?

Domain Guard prevents unauthorized transfers, protects sensitive information, and reduces exposure to spam, scams, and identity theft, ensuring a secure and controlled online presence.

What services are included in the Domain Guard

Domain Guard offer domain security and privacy, but they serve different purposes and provide varying levels of protection. Domain Privacy hides your personal details from the public WHOIS database. However, it may not be available for all domain types. For instance, .AU (Australia) domain names are governed by auDA, which restricts private registration. Private Tech helps protect your data by hiding your technical contact details.

  • We’ve partnered with a trusted third-party provider to offer enhanced Domain Monitoring features—such as malware scanning and blacklist monitoring—to help keep your website secure and your domain reputation protected.
  • All monitoring services are managed directly through the provider’s website using your existing SiteLock login details.
  • If your domain already has an active SiteLock paid plan, you’ll see a notification in your Control Panel and via API. This message will confirm that the plan is already provisioned and remind you that any management or updates should be done through the platform where the plan was originally purchased.
