Email Forwarding Does Not Forward
This guide explains how to troubleshoot Premium DNS' email forwarding that isn't working.
NOTE. After setting up email forwarding, allow up to 48 hours for DNS records to propagate. If forwarding still fails after this period, check your email settings.
For better understanding, please take note of the following:
- Email Forwarder. This refers to the email address that will forward the email to your Target Email.
- Target Email. This refers to the email that will receive the message forwarded by your Email Forwarder. This must be an active email address.
Step 1: Ensure the email forward setup is correct
- The name servers of your domain must be ns1.dnspackage.com and ns2.dnspackage.com.
- The MX record of (yourdomain.com) must be mail.dnspackage.com.
- The destination email must be correct and valid email address.

Step 2: Ensure the Target Email address is working
If the email forward setup is already correct, but it's still not working, it's probably the Target Email that is problematic.
- Ensure the Target email address is active. Try sending a direct email to the Target Email address to verify.
- Review the Target Email's spam/junk filters
- Check the Target Email's mailbox storage limits
