Transfer Your .UK Domain to Crazy Domains

This article provides a step-by-step guide on transferring your .UK domain from your current registrar to Crazy Domains. It outlines the process to help ensure your domain is transferred smoothly while maintaining normal operation of your website and email services. 

Transferring a .UK domain follows a different process compared to most other domain extensions. Instead of using an Authorization Code (EPP code), .UK domains are transferred by updating the domain’s IPS tag (also known as the registrar tag). 

Step 1: Add your .UK domain to Crazy Domains 

To initiate the domain transfer, complete the following steps: 

1. Log in to your Crazy Domains Account.  
2. On the left menu, click Buy Products>Domains>Transfer Domains. 
3. Enter the domain name that you want to transfer in the search box. 
4. Click on the TRANSFER button. 
5. If the system asks for a domain password, just enter the Customer ID of your account. 
6. Click ADD TO CART. 
7. Continue and complete the checkout process. 

Step 2: Update the IPS tag of your .UK domain 

To complete the transfer, you need to update the IPS tag of your .UK domain. 

1. Log in to your current registrar account. 
2. Change the IPS tag of your domain to DREAMSCAPE. 

If you don't have options to update the IPS tag, contact your current registrar's customer support and request to change the IPS tag of your domain to DREAMSCAPE. 

Once the IPS tag is updated, the transfer should be completed immediately. 

.UK domain transfer status 

Once your .UK domain name is successfully added to your Crazy Domains account, you can access your domain to see the transfer status. 

• Transfer Pending. Your .UK domain has been added to your Crazy Domains account, but the IPS tag has not yet been updated to DREAMSCAPE. The transfer will proceed once the tag is changed by your current provider.
