The Google Services feature in CD Website Builder helps you easily connect your website to powerful tools from Google—without needing to write any code.

This guide will walk you through how to set up each of these tools step by step. Whether you're a beginner or just looking for a simpler way to integrate Google services, this feature helps you get started quickly and confidently.

 

Accessing Google Services panel

  1. On the Side Menu of your Website Editor, click on Settings icon.
  2. On the settings panel, click Google Services.

Here, you will see the following Google services:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Site Verification
  • Google reCAPTCHA

Connecting Google Analytics to your site

To connect your website with your Google Analytics, follow these steps:

  1. Get your Google Analytics [GA4] measurement ID.
  2. On your Google Services panel, click on Google Analytics.
  3. Click on CONNECT.
  4. Enter your Google Analytics measurement ID.
  5. Click on SAVE.
  6. Republish your website.

Installing Google Tag to your site

If you are using Google tag to measure behavioral data about your website with Google Ads and Google Analytics, follow these steps:

  1. Create your Google tag. Read the article about Setting up a Google Tag Manager to learn more.
  2. On your Google Services panel, click on Google Tag Manager.
  3. Click on CONNECT.
  4. Enter your Google Tag.
  5. Click on SAVE.
  6. Republish your website.

Adding Google Verification code to your site

When using any Google services, Google would always ask you to verify your domain or website. This can be done through DNS or adding code to your website. Follow these steps if you're adding Google verification code to your site.

  1. Get your Google Verification code. Read Google's guide about website verification to learn more.
  2. On your Google Services panel, click on Site Verification.
  3. Click on CONNECT.
  4. Enter your Google Site Verification code.
  5. Click on SAVE.
  6. Republish your website.

 

Activating Google ReCAPTCHA on your site

  1. Get your Google ReCAPTCHA keys. Read Google's guide about reCHAPTCHA keys to learn more.
  2. On your Google Services panel, click on Google reCaptcha.
  3. Toggle on the SHOW RECAPTCHA IN FORMS.
  4. Enter your Google reCHAPTCHA Site Key and Secret Key.
  5. Republish your website.
