CD Website Builder | Setting Up Store Discounts

This guide walks you through creating, managing, and organizing discount coupons for your online store. By the end, you’ll confidently set up promotions that help boost sales and reward customers.

 

Add a discount coupon

  1. In your Website Editor, click the shopping cart icon from the side menu.
  2. Click Discounts.
  3. Click Add.
  4. In the New Coupon screen, fill in the following details:
     
    Field Description

    Discount Code

    		 A code is automatically generated, but you can edit it to match your brand (for example, MYSTORE2026).

    Discount

    Select your discount type:

    • Discount value
    • Free shipping
    • Free shipping + Discount
    Modifier Choose $ or % (not required for free shipping only)
    Amount Enter the discount value ($) or percentage (%)
    Start Date Set when the coupon becomes active
    End Date Enable this option and set when the coupon expires
    Applies To

    Choose one:

    • All Orders
    • $ Subtotal over (enter the minimum amount required)
    Limited By

    Restrict the coupon to:

    • Specific Categories, or
    • Specific Products (where the disocunts apply)
    Number of Uses

    Select from:

    • Unlimited
    • Once per customer
    • Single use

     
  5. Click Save.

Your new discount will appear in the ALL COUPONS list.

 

Edit a discount coupon

  1. In your Website Editor, click the shopping cart icon from the side menu.
  2. Click Discounts.
  3. Go to your Coupons List.
  4. Hover over the coupon you want to update.
  5. Click on the three-dot menu and select Edit.
  6. Make your changes, then click Save.

 

Pause your discount coupon

  1. In your Website Editor, click the shopping cart icon from the side menu.
  2. Click Discounts.
  3. In the Coupons List, hover over the coupon you want to pause.
  4. Click Pause. 

The coupon will be marked as paused (for example, COUPONAPR26 (PAUSED)).

 

Delete your discount coupon

  1. In your Website Editor, click the shopping cart icon from the side menu.
  2. Click Discounts.
  3. In your Coupons List, hover over the coupon you want to remove.
  4. Click Delete.

 

Manage coupons from the All Coupons page

The ALL COUPONS page displays the complete list of your added coupons and allows you to manage them in one place.

From the All Coupons page, you can:

Action How To Do It

Add a coupon

 Click the Add Coupon button.

Edit a coupon

 Hover over an existing coupon and click the Pencil icon to edit.
Pause a coupon Tick the box beside the coupon/s that you wish to temporarily deactivate, then click Pause on the top-right corner.
Delete a coupon Tick the box beside the coupons/s that you wish to remove, then click Delete on the top-right corner.
